We don't just conserve land
We conserve people's relationship to land
When you give to the Feather River Land Trust you are not only helping to conserve land; you are also conserving and restoring  people's relationship to land.

The Mountain Maidu have inhabited the Feather River region since the beginning of memory, and have developed unique Traditional Ecological Knowledge to care for land. Today, with your help, we're working together to protect sacred land and cultural relationship to land and to incorporate  Maidu traditional ecological knowledge  into stewardship and restoration practices on lands we manage. Watch the video below to learn more about this unique partnership that your support makes possible.

Maidu Gathering of the People video
Watch this video to learn about a partnership to sustain Maidu relationship to land, and bring together new and ancient ways to care for and manage the land.

We believe that conserving and taking care of land will only be sustainable if our work touches us all, is relevant to us all, and if it benefits our whole community.

Whether it's nurturing schoolchildren's love of land and learning through our Learning Landscapes program , conserving beloved community places, helping ranching families remain on the land, or partnering with the Mountain Maidu to steward the land, you are helping to ensure that people will love and care for this land, for generations to come.

We cannot do it with out you. Please give as generously as you can. We are grateful.
