April is STD Awareness Month
April is Sexually Transmitted Disease Awareness Month. STDs affect people of all ages, but especially young people. If you are in your teens or twenties or know people who are, visit the CDC website for resources you can learn from and share.

Remember that the Gardasil HPV vaccine is available at Women's Health Practice, and is recommended for both girls and boys from age 9 until age 26. It protects against cancers of the cervix, vulva, vagina and anus, as well as genital warts. Encourage young people and parents of young children and teens to learn more at www.gardasil.com. It could save a life!

Women's Health Practice offers comprehensive STD testing, partner testing, and HPV vaccination. Call 217-356-3736 or book your appointment online.
National Infertility Awareness Week is April 19-25
Infertility affects 1 in 8 couples trying to conceive. If you are struggling to become pregnant, you are not alone! For guidance and support, come to Women's Health Practice. We offer comprehensive, personalized infertility evaluations and solutions: learn more about our services at womenshealthpractice.com.

Preparing the uterus for pregnancy is often the first step for women struggling to conceive. Dr. Trupin explains the many factors important to successful embryo implantation at Gyno Gab.

  • Visit your insurance company's website for more helpful information about your plan.
