Non Hormonal Treatment of VVA
For breast cancer survivors, anti-estrogen medication may contribute to an unexpected side effect known as vaginal atrophy (VVA). The effects of VVA can cause daily discomfort or pain, and could make intercourse difficult or impossible. VVA is typically treated with estrogen, but for breast cancer survivors, this may not be an option.

Now, a brand new, non-invasive solution is available: MonaLisa Touch, a CO2 fractional laser, can safely rejuvenate vaginal tissue without the use of hormones. Participants in recent trials report up to 90% improvement of their symptoms. Read the full article at Fox News.

MonaLisa Touch therapy is available at Women's Health Practice. Schedule your consultation online, or call us at (217) 356-3736.

PicoSure laser treatment delivers ultra-short pulses of energy to shatter tattoo ink and skin spots.
