OMSSA is working with the Association of Municipalities of Ontario (AMO) and the provincial government through the Special Advisory Table on Syrian Refugees. This table will provide executive leadership, strategic guidance, sector collaboration and information-sharing on issues concerning refugee arrival and integration in Ontario. OMSSA is engaging members on information going to this table and will keep its membership informed on developments.

OMSSA has developed a
web portal compiling information and resources related to the settlement of Syrian refugees for members and municipalities. Resources include:
- Information and updates on the refugee settlement process
- The population profile of Syrian refugees arriving in Canada
- Resources and information from Ontario municipalities who are currently participating in the settlement process
