We are honored to have Dr. Vaikhary (Dr. V), from Camino Alto Veterinary Hospital & Wellness Center, presenting an educational cat wellness workshop on how to provide the most optimal care for your felines at home and assist in keeping medical costs down. Learn about some of the major feline diseases, which if detected early enough can save the life of your cat.  This presentation will outline basics of preventative health care for your precious cat, while helping to understand some of the not-so-common signs of common feline diseases.  

 A Q&A discussion will follow, so that you can ask any and all of your unresolved questions to an expert on cat health.

Dr. Vaikhary (Dr. V) moved to Bay area in 2002 and since then has lived and worked in many places including San Francisco, Peninsular & East Bay. Over last 8+ years she has worked extensively with small animals (cats and dogs) and few exotics while emphasizing on client communication, preventative care, internal medicine and surgery. She believes in customized preventative care plan for each patient based on their lifestyle and exposure. Her special interests include ophthalmology, soft tissue surgery and dentistry. In addition to general practice, she has several years of emergency medicine experience, working night shifts and performing life saving surgeries at early hours in the morning.

Wine and yummy hors d'oeuvres will be available purely for your enjoyment and our pleasure.

 The cost is $10 per person.  All proceeds go directly to Jake’s Place Cat Rescue and Hopalong/Second Chance Animal Rescue.
