Warning!  Those Pool Chemicals Are Serious Business.

It's important to store pool chemicals safely to protect your safety and your property. Here are some guidelines.

Start Early to Plan For Pool Season Safety!

With several months still ahead until the start of 2016 pool season, now might be a good time to think about ways to improve pool safety for the active summer months ahead.
A short list of precautions you can plan for now would include:

Install a fence around your pool. A safe fence will be about five feet high and will make access through anything but the gate very difficult.

Already have a fence? Great! However, you should still check to make sure that there are no deficiences around that fence that would foil your safety efforts.

Cover the deck surface with a non-slip material. There are various sources for a good non-slip, paint-on deck coating. Hines Pool is happy to help you with advice and service!

Is your pool used by children in the three-and-under category? Be sure to have life jackets on hand!

As mentioned above, those pool chemicals are a real hazard. Be certain those are kept under lock-and-key!
