PARENTS,
We had a busy night last night and are excited that both teams defeated Orchard to become the IISL Champions two years in a row! While we are proud DRAGONS, we will wait to have our free dress day until after the girls play in the tournament. Let's thank Ms. Peoni and Mr. Sherrill for all of their hard work in hosting this tournament!

PLEASE help us keep our dragons safe and do not park or drop off students on 33rd Street. There have been too many close calls. We also kindly ask that drivers remain off of cell phones while in the carpool line.

Stop by the Grade 3 International Fair today at 2:00 p.m. in the Fortune Room before you start the weekend!

ANNOUNCEMENTS

1. CONGRATS TO OUR NATIONAL HISTORY BEE PARTICIPANTS

The National History Bee is a contest for middle school students across the U.S. to compete in their knowledge of history. It begins with a multiple choice test at the school level. The top ten SRES students then compete in an online test. Qualifying students move on to the regional level where they match wits and knowledge in a "Jeopardy-like" forum in Louisville, KY. Ultimately, one student will be named the National History Bee Champion at the Finals in Chicago, IL. Ten students (see left), which includes every student who attempted from SRES, earned a spot to take the qualifying exam and will now move on to the regional competition in Louisville on April 9. Let's thank our teachers for providing them with the knowledge to excel in this contest and also wish the students good luck!
