The Michael Gray Memorial Ski & Snowboard Race is a great opportunity for all types of skiers and snowboarders to spend a day of fun at beautiful Windham Mountain and to support the Adaptive Sports Foundation. Michael J. Gray, Jr. was a snowboard instructor with the Windham Mountain Snowsports School, when he was tragically killed in a car accident. To honor Michael's memory and dedication to snow sports, the Gray family started a memorial race in Micheal's honor. The proceeds from the race are donated to the Adaptive Sports Foundation.

Ralph Hartman Tribute Race
March 12, 2016
Open to all skiers and snowboarders with physical and cognitive challenges able to ski or ride beginner terrain - specifically the lower White Way trail at Windham Mountain.
The Ralph Hartman Tribute Race gives disabled skiers the opportunity to feel the excitement of "running gates" and the satisfaction of finishing a race course.  The emphasis is not on winning but on finishing. Click here for more information on this year's Ralph Hartman Tribute Race.

Wildcat opens!
Windham Mountain Resort introduces its fifth new trail in three years. Located in the Mountain's Wilderness Bowl  between the East and West Peaks, Wildcat  branches off of Wolf's Prey  which was added in 2014 .  The name, Wildcat, has a story of its own, and came through Windham Mountain Resort's ongoing support of the Adaptive Sports Foundation. One of the Foundation's core fundraising events is the Winter Gala & Auction.  Windham Mountain Resort offered the privilege to name the next new trail to the highest bidder. Catherine Lehman helped a great cause with the winning bid for this auction item.  Thank you to both Catherine and Windham Mt for their support.

The world of hugs and smiles
All of us can get caught up in the hustle and bustle of our lives. Wake up, walk the dog, get out the door for the day (often with kids in tow), after school carpools, grocery shopping, dinner, work out (if you are lucky), walk the dog, go to bed...repeat. It is very easy to forget to stop, take in the world around you, and remember to smile.
One of the things I love about the Adaptive Sports Foundation is it is a place where you are reminded daily of the important things in life; smiles, hugs, gratitude and pure happiness.   Click here to read more.
