In early April the Student Diversity Council will hold its annual diversity conference: "Adversity in Diversity." The conference features hands-on and engaging workshops, and provides students with a deeper understanding of the importance of diversity in the workplace, insight into what diversity brings to a company, and the obstacles that go hand-in-hand with diversity.

Data Blitz Competition:
Driving Actionable Insights through Analytics
Mar. 22 - Apr. 14
 
Teams of 3-5 students will perform data analysis and use Tableau to present their findings during a four -week long competition. Participants will receive training in the Deloitte-sponsored Tableau and become familiar with the interface and tools. 

All Majors, Freshmen, Sophomores, Juniors and Seniors are welcome to participate in the competition--no prior experience is required!

The Google 2016 AdMob Student App Challenge is now open!

The  Google AdMob Challenge is a global  competition for students of any major to see who
can build the best app. Students form app teams
and then monetize it using AdMob.

COB 300 Application Deadline:  Apr. 1
The ASC is accepting appointments to complete the COB 300 application for Summer 2016 and Fall 2016.  All students who plan to enroll in COB 300 for summer or fall must meet with his/her advisor for this special advising session before Apr. 1.
 
Deadline to Withdraw from Semester Course:  Mar. 18
This is the last day to withdraw from a semester long course with a 'W'.  After Mar. 18 you must remain in the course and accept the grade you earn.  Students should consult their instructors and advisors for guidance before withdrawing.
 
Summer Registration Begins Mar. 21
Enrollment appointments to register for summer classes at JMU begins on Mar. 21.  Check MyMadison for your enrollment day/time.
