The U.S. employment eligibility verification program known as E-Verify is set to expire on September 30, 2015. What does this mean to employers? Unless Congress reauthorizes the program, employers will no longer be able to utilize the online database that allows employers to electronically validate and verify a new hire’s work authorization and documentation.
