Cambria City Neighborhood Plan Update

Ryan Kieta
Community Developer

Last week, the City of Johnstown's Neighborhood Planning Team presented a scope of work to a neighborhood stakeholder's group for Phase 2 of the Cambria City Neighborhood Plan. The scope included recommendations and input from stakeholders and residents gathered over the past year.

Working closely with community support, the planning team will be developing things such as neighborhood branding efforts, parking and signage recommendations, a greenspace plan, local redevelopment strategies, and the possible formation of community development groups.

The Neighborhood Planning Team includes staff from the City of Johnstown and The EADS Group, as well as JARI's Community Development Consultants.

Phase 1 of the Cambria City Ne ighborhood Plan was published in April 2015 and resulted in the creation of design guidelines and regulatory recommendations for the neighborhood. Phase 2 of the Neighborhood Plan will continue through Summer 2016.
