Message from your WHS PTSO Executive Board

Thanksgiving is just a week away!

We are particularly thankful for all our wonderful volunteers who give their time and talent supporting the WHS community.

We won't be running an email blast next week so we can prepare for the holiday and enjoy time with our families.  For those of you who will be on the road, travel safe!

Happy Thanksgiving!

Junior Class Food Drive to Benefit Wellesley Food Pantry

Wellesley High School is hosting a school-wide Thanksgiving Food Drive from November 9th through November 20th, to benefit the Wellesley Food Pantry.

The drive is sponsored by WHS's Junior Class, and will be a fun competition between the Bradford, Perrin and Phillips houses. Whichever house collects the most food by the end of the school day on November 20th will receive a trophy at the Pep Rally on Nov. 25.   Wellesley Food Pantry has suggested the following as possible donation items:  coffee, hot chocolate, cereal, paper towels, toilet paper, peanut butter, and jam.  Traditional collection items such as pastas and soups are also welcome.   (Please note:  Key Club and National Honor Society members may receive service hour credits in exchange for donations.  Please contact your respective clubs for details.)

In this time of thankfulness, the Junior Class wishes to encourage the school community to come together and help support those who rely on the Food Pantry for food and other goods. Everybody deserves to have a wonderful Thanksgiving with friends, family, love, laughter, and food; help WHS make sure we can all have a great holiday.

Thank you, and Happy Thanksgiving from the Junior Class!
