("Red Students")
1929-34  

Among the periodicals related to students and higher education during the interwar period , Krasnoe studenchestvo ("Red Students"), published by the Central Bureau of Soviet Students in Moscow, was the the most important journal devoted to student life. Issues relating to political activism, morality, and civic duty were regularly addressed in its pages. Offered here is a group of 37 issues, consisting of 3 issues from 1929-30; thirty of the 31 issues published from 1929-1930, including 1929 - #19, a special, tri-fold issue; 2 issues from 1930-31, including a special, over-sized issue, plus 2 issues from 1934. Plus, a Rodchenko cover and photos and 2 Stepanova cover designs.

ROST was published semi-monthly in Moscow from 1930-1934 by Vessel of the All-Russian and Moscow association of proletarian writers. It was a literary arts and cultural affairs popular magazine . Offered here are 23 issues, including 19 issues from 1931, 2 issues from 1932 and 2 issues from 1934.

Proletarskoe kino was distributed from 1931-1932... its only years of publication after succeeding Kino i zhizn'. After 1932, it was renamed Sovetskoe kino and then Iskusstvo kino.
This group is a near complete run of the numbers for those initial years. 1931 is complete in 12 numbers (9 issues) and 1932 has 19 of 22 numbers (13 issues).

("Books and Revolution")
1929-30  















A fortnightly journal of politics, culture, criticism, and bibliography published in Moscow in 1929-30. Offered here is a near complete run including 21 of the 24 numbers in 1929 and all 30 numbers in 26 issues from 1930. Stepanova designed all issues from 1929 - #1 through 1930 - #21-22 with scattered Rodchenko, Ignatovich photography.
