Safety First!
Please, please, please.....
-slow down in our parking lots
-watch for students that may be walking in the parking lots
-follow the instructions of our staff directing traffic
-be courteous and safe when driving and parking
-keep the flow of traffic moving during drop off and pick up
-remember that the parking lot exits are RIGHT turn ONLY during drop off and pick up hours.
There are 300+ cars that need to move through, twice a day, every day, and the process goes much smoother when
everyone
plays by the same rules and is extra cautious. Thank you for your increased attention, caution & cooperation!
Sick Day Reminders
Please remember:
students must be fever free and vomit free for at least 24 hours before returning to school. It is imperative that this rule is strictly followed to keep our students and staff as healthy as possible, especially during flu season.
Security upgrades & updates
Work is underway for two of our security upgrades projects!
1. Electricians have begun the prep work on our front doors for the biometric entry install.
2. The install date is set for next week for all of the additional security cameras. We will be adding cameras to the cafeteria and courtyard, as well as installing additional playground and hallway cameras.

Brain Bowl Coach Needed
We are in need of a coach for O'Hara's Brain Bowl team this year. Brain bowl is a trivia contest in which teams of 6th, 7th & 8th graders from middle schools in the region compete against each other. O'Hara has participated for the last several years and we would love to continue this tradition.
Coaching entails the following things:
1. Running short practices during lunch recess a few times per week for several weeks with the middle school teams.
2. Supervising the trip to the tournament on Monday, May 2.
Kidsports Vouchers Available
Our school has been adopted by a generous family through Kidsports to be able to offer free vouchers for families who need help with the cost of registration for their student. We have 20 Kidsports Vouchers available. If you need a voucher, please see Barb in the front office.
Ping Pong Tables Needed!
Mrs. Meyer would like to borrow 6 portable Ping Pong tables for a unit on the Summer Olympics this May. If you have one to lend, please email
Mrs. Meyer.
(the school has enough ping pong paddles and ping pong balls, so only tables are needed.)

Eugene Seminary Benefit Dinner - March 6, 2016
Please join Mount Angel seminarians for the 7th annual Eugene Seminary Benefit Dinner, on Sunday, March 6, at 4:30 p.m. at the Valley River Inn in Eugene. The reception begins at 4:30 p.m., followed by dinner and the program. Guests will break bread with seminarians at their tables, getting acquainted with the men who will offer the light of Christ to the world. Many of you have watched your seminarians grow into their vocations, through pastoral formation assignments as deacons and, finally,
as ordained priests. These are men our world needs.
