21 Year Old  Vinielle Achankeng Acha-Morfaw was crowned Miss Cameroon USA 2015 in the Great State of Maryland, USA
It Was A Tight Race Indeed
It was a fabulous ceremony on June 20 2015 at the Best Western Hotel in Lanham, Maryland where Cameroonians and Friends of Cameroon gathered to witness the phenomenal ladies take on each category of competition from Traditional dance, Talent, Public Speaking, Fashion Parade and Interviews. (Pls note Swim Wear is not a part of this competition because the Philosophy of this Pageant is about the dignity, pride and honor of the the African woman)

The ladies were all exceptional with Vinielle Achankeng Acha-Morfaw emerging in the Lead with very narrow margins as her First Princess, Ateba Atanga was right on her neck followed by 2nd Princess Daphne Abange.  The Judges did an excellent job, the Audience was indeed very pleased with the results and acknowledged how great all the delegates did.  They are all winners for sure.

SO WHO IS VINIELLE ACHANKENG ACHA-MORFAW?

Name: Vinielle Acha-Morfaw

Age : 21

College: Towson University School of Nursing

Career Aspiration: I am currently a nursing student at Towson University. I want to be a Surgical Nurse and eventually obtain my PhD in Nursing.

Hobbies: Modeling, shopping, volunteering at community organizations, hanging out with friends & family, and entering online sweepstakes.

My platform is cancer awareness in Cameroon and the USA. Loosing many family members to cancer had a strong impact on me and pushed me to make a difference in the community. I make it my mission to educate and make people more aware of cancer as well as support those affected by Cancer. In Cameroon today, many people have never seen doctors or are able to afford healthcare. As the Official Spokes Person for the Patcha Foundation Inc, founded by members of my family to fight Cancer and raise awareness, it is my goal to empower the community at home and abroad by providing the knowledge, tools, networks and resources to help reduce deaths caused by Cancer.
