EWGA members, Kris Corbridge and Patricia Ickes qualified for the NCGA Four-Ball Net Championship to be played June 22-23 at Poppy Hills & Spyglass Hill Golf Courses. One of the sectional qualifiers was held at Haggin Olak Golf Course yesterday, May 28. They were one of nine teams moving on to the Championship from this qualifier. Only 56 teams will be moving on to the Championship. Pam Katros

| Chapter Championship - FUN Play |
Want to play after the competitors have gone out? Just want to have FUN and be there for the results? Well, you can!
Sign up for the FUN play and yummy, healthy BBQ after playing and watch the leaderboard as the results come in.
After the field tee times will probably start around noon, but if you're there at 11:00, you can cheer the Chapter Championship competitors on as they tee off.

There are two fun play days that are coming up and we need more of you to sign up! So, the registration deadline for both of these have been extended to Wednesday, June 3rd.
- Wildhawk ~ Saturday, June 13 ~ It's a Scramble ~ $34 walking and $48 riding
- Mather Play Day ~ Sunday, June 14 ~ Flag Day Fun ~ $29 walking and $36 riding

Deadlines Extended for Short Game Clinics!

| Next week you have two opportunities to strengthen your short game. Want a weeknight class? How about a Saturday class? We have got you covered!
On Thursday, June 4, at 5:30 you can take a clinic in Sacramento at Haggin Oaks or sign-up for the Saturday, June 6 clinic at 10 a.m. at Lincoln Hills.
For those of you competing in the EWGA Chapter Championship on June 7 here is your last chance to get your short game all tuned up!

The First Tee of Greater Sacramento Needs Help

I wanted to share a unique volunteer opportunity with you to enjoy the US Senior Open, while helping a wonderful non-profit in our region.
As the "charity of choice" for the upcoming US Senior Open June 22-28th at Del Paso Country Club, The First Tee of Greater Sacramento has been charged with manning the concession stands at the event for the entire week. They are seeking to cover a total of 795 shifts during the week. For scheduling purposes, they would like to have volunteers sign up prior to the end of May. In exchange for providing volunteers for concessions, The First Tee of Greater Sacramento will receive a portion of the concession proceeds, which will go a long way in helping them serve the over 17,000 local youth they work with on an annual basis.
You will receive free parking and a ticket to be on the grounds for the entire day of your shift(s). You can arrive earlier or stay late and watch the event before or after you volunteer. Lunch is provided and there is no uniform to purchase, just wear a white shirt and khaki or black bottoms.
