"SCRIPT ANALYSIS: The Mind of Acting Technique"
Teacher Al D'Andrea will guide his students through the rigorous process of analyzing a contemporary script for the stage. Each actor will develop the script analysis tools needed to knowledgeably bring a character to life. Students will then apply these techniques as they rehearse and present selected scenes during the class. They will also employ the acting tools developed in other Snowlion Rep acting class modules (action & objective, character, imagination & instinct, and the actor's instrument).
Special attention will be given to the script analysis techniques of Al's mentors, the legendary actress Stella Adler and Hollywood's foremost acting teacher Stephen Book.
