2015 Gas Leak Survey Notice
Hamilton, Ohio  The City of Hamilton Department of Underground Utilities - Gas and Water Distribution Division is required by the U.S. Department of Transportation (DOT) Code of Federal Regulation Title 49, Part 192 to periodically conduct leak surveys on all natural gas piping up to the outlet of the meter.

The 2015 survey will start on October 12, 2015 and should be completed by December 31, 2015. The survey will be conducted in the area shown on the PDF below.

A City of Hamilton Gas & Water Distribution employee along with an employee from Heath Consultants, Inc. will conduct the survey.  The employees performing the survey will have proper ID with them.  The inspection takes approximately five to ten minutes to complete and access to the inside or outside meter and associated piping will be required.

No appointment is required for this survey.  Typically, on the day of the survey the representatives will stop by the residence and request access to the inside or outside meter and the associated piping.  The survey is conducted Monday thru Friday 8:00am to 3:00 pm.  If no one is at the residence, a door hanger will be left informing the resident to call the City of Hamilton.

If there are any questions please call the 2015 Gas Leak Survey Customer Line at 513-785-7560.  If there is no answer, please leave your name, address and phone number and a representative will get back with you in a timely fashion.  If the residence does not have gas service, please disregard this notice.
