Come Out, Hug In!

It is time to get the sweaters out and explore the differentl flavors of fall. We expect to have a very spook-tacular October. Check out the following events, especially our Hugging Booth.

This Sunday October 11th is National Coming Out Day, a civil awareness day internationally observed to recognize members of the LGBTQ+ community.

Metro DC PFLAG will be hosting two hugging booths for PFLAG parents and allies to embrace the community during this day of love and support. We hope you can join us and volunteer to be a hugger. VOLUNTEER HERE.

Northern VA Pride Multifaith Worship Service

Express Yourself!

An extravaganza celebrating individuality. Presented by Equality UUCF. - Free admission; donations gratefully accepted. - Proceeds benefit Fairfax LGBTQ Youth (FLY), a Metro DC PFLAG youth group.

Individuals of all ages are encouraged to come "Express Yourself," dressed in the style and clothing that expresses your best self, the style you're happiest in. Sign up to walk the runway in the "Show" or come to cheer on others expressing themselves.

Highwood Theatre Pride Night

The show follows the struggles of young adults trying to figure out who they are, where they belong, and what they want out of life. It specifically addresses relationships and sexuality and examines the oft-forgotten "Q" in the LGBTQ acronym - questioning.
