Brotherhood Paid-Up Membership Dinner

Brotherhood Members - Please be our guest, with your significant other, for our annual paid-up member dinner on Saturday, February 27th in the Temple House starting with appetizers and a blind wine tasting at 6:00pm. If you would like to participate in the judging, please bring a bottle of wine (between $12-$18 or more) to share. You will vote on your favorites, with the winner receiving a bottle of wine as your prize. A Buffet Dinner will follow the judging. This promises to be a very fun night. RSVP to [email protected] no later than February 20th and indicate if you are bringing wine.  This event is free for Brotherhood Members.

Everyone is welcome to join our congregational family for a Shabbatluck Dinner.  These potluck dinners take place throughout the religious school year on the first Friday of the month before the Erev Shabbat Service.  On March 4, our service will be led by our 2nd Grade Class with participation from our Bet Hebrew Class.  Meet and schmooze with our students, their families, and our congregation during a friendly potluck dinner and stay for a wonderful service.  

Please bring a dish to share.  These designations are based on your last name:
A-L: Salad, side dish, fruit

Babies, and bagels, and blessings, oh my!  Join us on the second Saturday of every month for a Shabbat experience geared towards families with children ages 0-30 months.  Little ones will enjoy a service full of Shabbat songs, Torah studies, and parachute play!  Kiddush, motzi, and a bagel oneg sponsored by Temple Emanu-El Sisterhood will follow this fun-filled program.  This is a great opportunity for parents of young children to meet and form groups with their peers!

The Tea and Torah program includes study of the week's Torah portion over tea and noshes.  Utilized are commentaries reflecting a variety of perspectives.  Open and welcome to all who would like to learn about the history, thought process, and fast evolving freedom of expression, from a contemporary Reform Judaism approach. This week, Tea & Torah is preceded by our Shabbat Morning Minyan study with our Gimmel Hebrew Students.
