Introducing "Dusty Road" the new album from powerhouse super group, Brothers Brown
"Dusty Road" the debut album introduces listeners to a vibrant new sound in American Root music. The twelve track album- showcasing the masterful combination of songwriting and musicianship- brings to mind similar artists, The Band and Creedance Clearwater, in their ability to create timelessness in atmosphere buoyed by their bottomless emotional depth.
T he Brothers Brown is fronted by two musicians forever entwined by the name Paul Brown. One, a double Grammy winning producer, guitarist, singer and songwriter, hails from Los Angeles, while the other, a Grammy nominated producer, keyboardist and songwriter, is based in Nashville. The band is completed by a virtuosic rhythm section that also calls Nashville home: bassist David Santos, who has worked amongst icons such as, Billy Joel, Elton John, John Fogerty and many others and drummer Peter Young, who has toured with Loretta Lynn and Burrito Brothers. Santos and Young are also noted producers that have credits linking them to an array of different artists.
From a group that had never even been in the same room together before the album was recorded, the seasoned sounds they create makes Dusty Road a unique and thrilling experience. With blended talents in almost every genre, including Americana, Jazz, Rock, Blues and R&B, this album has the effortlessness and musical depth that can excite any fan of music. From the opening bursts of Latin percussion, the gentle pealing and precise licks of Brown's guitar, to his big toned voice, this blend of unique four part harmonies makes Dusty Road an album that will not be forgotten.
