Blueberries are here!

The first blueberries of the season will be making an appearance at the markets this weekend at the Westmoreland Berry Farm stands!  Winter dreams of warm blueberry pie topped with homemade ice cream will come true in my kitchen next week, along with cold blueberry soup, blueberry cake and blueberry glaze for my meats. 

Look for new blueberry recipes in Dishing the Dirt in the weeks to come. If you have a recipe that you would like to share, please send it to Diana and she may recreate it in a post for everyone to enjoy. If your recipe is chosen for our blog, you will also receive a gift certificate to the markets! 

For dog lovers at the markets...

Dogs are welcome at all of our markets. However, recently we have had a couple of incidents with dogs and we want to share our market rules for dogs with you.  If we see your dog misbehaving or tied up and left alone at the market, we will ask you to refrain from bringing your dog in the future. We don't want to have a "no dogs allowed" policy, so please follow the rules! Check out CFM's Dog Rules.
