national search. He succeeds Ray Considine, HRiA's former President and CEO, who is retiring this month after 27 years of distinguished service to HRiA and the public health community.

In making the announcement, Harriet Tolpin, Ph.D., Chairperson of HRiA's Board of Directors, commented, "The Board selected Steve with great confidence and enthusiasm from an impressive pool of highly qualified candidates. Steve brings inspiring vision, facilitative leadership, demonstrated excellence in strategy and business development, and a deep commitment to health equity to this position. He is a skilled and seasoned executive, highly respected by clients, colleagues and thought leaders locally, regionally and nationally. We are excited to work with Steve to continue HRiA's excellent work and to deepen and broaden its impact on the health and well being of individuals, populations and communities."

Noted Dr. Ridini, "I am as passionate today about Health Resources in Action's commitment to equity and social justice as I have ever been. This is an exciting opportunity for HRiA and for me, and I look forward to working with my talented colleagues on both the board and staff, all of whom share the same passion and commitment to our mission."
