Mutual of Omaha 2016 Med Supp Marketing & Mix of Business programs are in full swing.

Mutual of Omaha's 2016 Med Supp Marketing Credit Program has kicked off and with each Med Supp app you submit, you earn credit towards business expenses.  If you've earned credits  for policies you've written in 2015, you can redeem them through March 1st, 2016. You can check your balance by logging into Mutual of Omaha's Sales Professional Access ( SPA ) and redeem these credits to pay for leads, office equipment, or conference fees. The Med Supp Mix of Business Bonus program is also in full swing. Earn bonuses in addition to your renewal commissions.

We're pleased to announce that Audrey Sunner will be joining The Brokerage Resource effective February 29th as our Life & Long-term Care Sales Manager. Audrey has worked extensively in the insurance sales arena for the last 13 years as a commission only agent, unit sales manager, trainer and most recently worked in a successful agency marketing senior products. We welcome her and know she'll be a great asset to our team.

Aetna launched their new Recovery Care product to 18 states.

Effective February 12th, Aetna launched their new Recovery Care product to the following states:  AR, DE, IA, ID, IL, IN, LA, MI, MS, MT, NE, NV, OH, OK, SC, WI, WV and WY. This product is a limited benefit hospital indemnity and short-term recovery care fixed indemnity policy that can be offered to your clients in addition to selling them Medicare Supplement policies. e-Apps are available for this product and marketing materials are available via the agent portal.

Are you networking and looking for additional prospects?

Referrals are the absolute best way to grow your client base, and networking via your existing client base. However, we understand that from time to time you need a new source for prospects, and we're happy to provide that for you. We have several options for leads and prospecting and for our contracted agents, we will provide you with a custom list based on the geographic area and demographics you choose.

Genworth is leaving the Life & Annuity markets.

Genworth announced earlier this month that they will be exiting the Life & Annuity markets, and will be focusing their product portfolio on Long-term care insurance. Existing clients who have life and annuity policies with Genworth will NOT be impacted by this decision. 

Cigna's doling out FREE leads, cash and trip credits. 

Cigna is giving out FREE leads for every $3,000 in issued annualized premium you write per month on their Final Expense products. You have the ability to earn 1,000 lead mailers every month, and you can do this by offering Final Expense products to your clients when you're discussing their future needs.

Cigna's March Dash for Cash promotion is about to kick off. The more Supplemental Benefits products you sell to your clients, the more you will earn in cash incentives and in 2017 trip credits.
