SENDING IN YOUR DOCUMENTS:

  • If you submit paper documents, please do not staple them, as we will need to scan them.
  • To send us your documents securely, you can use the portal and add them to your Organizer before you "Send to Preparer" (you can only send the Organizer to us one time!).
  • You can also upload documents through File Exchange on the portal.  If you use File Exchange, please title the documents specifically, especially if you have multiple entities.
  • If you have many entities, we can set up Folders for each one - contact Katie before uploading or for any assistance with using the portal.
  • Go to our website for FAQ's and to log in to your portal.

FRAUD PREVENTION
There is always a surge of phone and email scams during tax season, and it seems to be getting worse.  In fact, the IRS has seen a 400% increase in phishing and malware schemes so far this year, and we know of several clients who have received fraudulent phone calls. Take a look at the IRS top tax scams for 2016.
The Colorado Department of Revenue is reminding taxpayers that they are increasing efforts to prevent refund fraud. They will NOT call or email you to request personal information, but the department may send letters through the postal service to request verifications related to suspicious income tax filings.
Please be vigilant and extremely careful with your personal information!  We are also committed to protecting the information you share with us, and we continually review our procedures for keeping data secure.  Here is a copy of our Privacy Notice.
