Shippensburg University Shark Tank Camp
Boys and Girls Grades 6 - 8
The SU Young Entrepreneurs Camp is a day camp designed to give middle school students ages 11 – 13 years old the opportunity to develop their ideas and present them to venture capitalists. They will discover how to research if their idea is unique and learn about how to get their product recognized.
We will look inside the Entrepreneurial mind: from ideas to reality! We will discuss Creativity, Innovation and the habits and characteristics of successful business owners, and what it takes to be successful. What are reasons for company success or failure? Successful companies and business leaders will be introduced and discussed. Financing a business and pricing their product will be covered. Campers will learn the important role of small business to our Country…and look at the Global potential for any product they create.
