Birds of a Feather 

From TRI-KES comes the newest collection of specialty wallcoverings from German designer Ulf Moritz. Patterns utilize unique materials like basalt yarn derived from volcanic rock and surface decorations including mica, glass beads and crystals. You're Invited 

The Wallcoverings Association's 2015 Fall Meeting is being held September 20-21 in Rosemont, IL, just outside Chicago. This one-and-a-half day event provides insights into the A&D process and forecasts trends in design and sustainability, with presentations from experts at Cannon Design, Perkins Eastman and Wight & Company. A one-day TecTrac follows on Sept. 22 and covers installation and customer service.
What's Old is New Again 

Astek's Patina collection is an aesthetic exploration of aged and weathered surfaces. Redefining the idea that beauty is only found in the unblemished and new, these designs show that through age comes depth and elegance. Patina offers the designer a way to introduce bold color and texture into a room design. It is produced using Astek's 0 VOC inks that release zero solvents into the environment.
 



Craftsmanship Uncorked 

Crafted through extensive printing and emboss experimentation, the Tower brand releases a fresh category of artisan-quality, layered wallcovering called Artiste, the French term for craftsman. The Lustre Strie pattern embodies this artisan spirit by combining layered, gilded colors with a deep vertical emboss. Uptown Walls

Persian Inspiration 

From Fidelity Wallcovering comes Cadiz Fret, a new pattern that draws inspiration from fret motifs found in Persian rugs.
