Birthday in a Bag Service Project - All Week Long!
In honor of the Girl Scout Birthday, Girl Scouts across Kansas Heartland are joining together to make a difference with this service project. Every person needs some recognition of their birthday, but sometimes circumstances prevent this from happening. A Birthday in a Bag can make a birthday more special. A Birthday in a Bag is a self-contained gift bag with everything you need to have a Birthday celebration. Fill the bags with cake mix, candles, frosting, balloons, a foil cake pan, Birthday themed plates and napkins, cake decorations, and maybe a toy or gift. Deliver to a Girl Scout Center or a local food bank, pantry or organizations serving youth or seniors citizens. Birthday bags for senior could include cards, books, magazines, toiletries or other small gifts.
