  SEPTEMBER GIFT CARD WINNER
Congratulations to Caroline Ulrich Accrosini of Betton HIlls School (formerly Seven Hills Academy) who won a  gift card by clicking on the drawing link in last month's Admin Advantage email.
Here is Caroline's feedback on the September Admin Advantage Updates:
"The blog post was a great reminder of the role played by administrators in how the school works and  the "vibe" about the school. It is great to see how the positive side of the interaction of an administrator with teachers is leading to success in the classroom."

          • a Partnership School
          • an Open-Door School
          • a Come-if-We-Call-School
          • a Fortress School
...and the categories within each type
          • Building Relationships
          • Linking to Learning
          • Addressing Diversity
          • Support Advocacy
          • Sharing Power

PLSA Scholarships are still available!

Step Up For Students is
still taking applications for the Personal Learning Scholarship Account (PLSA). This scholarship is for students with special needs and created in June 2014 by the Florida legislature. Currently, students ages 3 to 22 with the following diagnoses are eligible to receive PLSA funds:
· Autism Spectrum Disorder
· Muscular Dystrophy
· Cerebral Palsy
· Down Syndrome
· Prader-Willi Syndrome
· Spina Bifida
· Williams Syndrome
· Intellectual Disability (severe cognitive impairment)
