The All-Russian Academy of Architecture was founded in October, 1933 and was intended to be the highest ranking academic, scientific and research institute for architects. Among its teachers and fellows were the best Soviet architects of the era.
The journal Академия архитектуры contributed authoritatively to the theoretical development of the new classically-inclined style of architecture in the USSR.
Published in 15 issues from 1934 to 1937 in Moscow by the All-Union Academy of Architecture. One double issue was published in 1934; bi-monthly issues in 1935-36; and three issues in 1937. Contact us for condition report and price. |
