Leaders in Bangladesh's garment industry recently met with leaders from the European Union (EU) to discuss the development of the country's garment sector. A tripartite Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) has been signed between the Bangladesh Garment Manufacturers and Exporters Association (BGMEA), the Directorate General of Family Planning (DGFP), and Engender Health Bangladesh (EHB), aimed at widening the availability of family planning services in garment factories around the country. The agreement would help make DGFP family planning services more widely available to garment workers in the country and broaden overall knowledge about the issue of family planning. (
