GSA establishes Colombia's first accredited odour laboratory using Scentroid SC300 Olfactometer.
The first commercial odour laboratory in Colombia is established by GSA in partnership with TQI. Last month GSA successfully obtained accreditation to ISO/IEC 17025:05 according to the Colombian Norm NTC 5880, Air Quality Determination of Odour Concentration by Dynamic Olfactometry . Central to GSA's operation is Scentroid SC300 mobile olfactometer. This state-of-the-art olfactometer allows GSA to conduct odour assessment to all international standards including EN13725:2003, VDI3881 and NTC5880.
Introducing Scentroid SL50: the world's first and only  Air Quality Monitoring Station with capabilities of a traditional E-Nose.

Scentroid's  SL50 Scentinal  Air & Odour Monitoring Station Provides ambient odour emission monitoring based on high accuracy (ppb level) detection of odorous gases such as  Hydrogen sulfide, Ammonia, Volatile organic compounds, Sulfur Oxide and Methane. This affordable monitoring stations does uses only high accuracy sensors and analyzers such as Photo Ionization Detectors, Non-Destructive Infrared Sensors, and Electro-chemical Fuel-cell sensors to detect individual pollutants. The pollutant measurements are then used by the instrument to calculate odour concentration based on a sophisticated learning algorithm and numerous odour calibration data using Scentroid SM100i field olfactometer. This unique approach completely revolutionizes the E-Nose industry that traditionally used low-priced Metal Oxide sensors with large cross sensitivity and drift issues plus attempted to correlate the sensor outputs using a few olfactometric measurement.

Scentinal SL50 provides pollutant levels as well as odour concentration on Scentroid's cloud based servers allowing individual component or total odour level alarms to be set. Scentinal SL50 will seamlessly connect to Scentroid's Total Odour Management Software for live dispersion modeling, forecasting and complaint management.
