Over the past several months the Executive Director Search committee has reviewed more than a dozen resumes from men and women around the country and Canada. Synagogue Executive Directors, business administrators, Non-profit organization directors, strong Jewish educators and CEOs have submitted their resumes. Phone interviews, Skype interviews, and extensive reference checks were conducted by the Committee. We have identified several candidates for the position. Our first candidate to visit Jacksonville and the Jacksonville Jewish Center is Marc Neiwirth.

Marc Neiwirth has over 25 years synagogue executive director experience. He has lead sizable and complex congregations in operational leadership, financial management, community outreach, facility oversight and program development.
Mr. Neiwirth has a strong commitment to a Jewish life style and Jewish education both professionally and personally. He has been a leader in his community as well holding leadership roles in Mercaz, USA, USCJ, and as immediate past president of NAASE, North American Association of Synagogue Executives.
