High Wind Advisory:  

Power Outages in the Lincoln Park Neighborhood

Dear 43rd Ward Residents,
 
Commonwealth Edison has informed me that power is out in the following locations due to high winds: 

* 2 outages at Diversey and Dayton affecting 21 customers - no detailed completion time

* 3 outages at Shubert and Orchard affecting 850 customers - no detailed completion time

* 2 outages at Lincoln and Clark affecting 422 customers - no detailed completion date

* Outage at Montana and Lincoln Ave affecting 705 customers - crew scheduled, under investigation

* Outage at Geneva Terrace and Lincoln Ave affecting 5 customers - crew scheduled, strong weather cause

* Outage at Webster and Sheffield affecting 98 customers - crew scheduled

* Outage at Clifton and Belden affecting 5 customers - crew scheduled

* Outage at Howe and Orchard from Willow to Armitage affecting 369 customers - scheduling crew, assessing damage

* Outage at North Ave at Clark affecting 40 customers - additional crews required at location

* Traffic Signals Out at Lincoln/Fullerton/Halsted (see below)

* Street lights down at 2133 N Sheffield in the parkway.  Avoid the location until secure

The Office of Emergency Management and Communications (OEMC) is sending a crew to the corner of Lincoln, Halsted and Fullerton to direct traffic until the outages at that location can be repaired.

If you need to report an outage, please call ComEd at 1-800-334-7661.  You can also text OUT to 26633.    

If there is an emergency life safety issue, call 911.
 
Commonwealth Edison has dispatched crews as noted above to begin repairs, and will be working until all the outages have been resolved.  
 
I have been in constant contact with Commonwealth Edison representatives in regards to this situation, and I will continue to keep you apprised, as I am made aware of further developments.
