| Dear Friends, The Prince George's African American Museum and Cultural Center is hosting their first Photo Competition for students, professionals, or amateur photographers and offering the chance of exhibition and a $1,000 award. Submissions are due September 12th, so that gives you all of August to have fun exploring and photographing Prince George's County.

PGAAMCC PHOTO COMPETITION:
PGAAMCC proudly presents our first photography competition celebrating life and culture in Prince George's County.
Student, hobbyists, and professional photographers and imagemakers are encouraged to submit mages that capture the essence of Prince George's County-where and how we live, shop, eat, play, learn and worship. Images must display fascinating moments of everyday life in the county. It's all about sharing and exploring who we are and what we are becoming--now!
Your Work Featured In Our Next Exhibition
All submissions will be reviewed by a panel of judges. Winning submissions will be featured in our upcoming online and gallery exhibition,
"Now! A Photographic Survey of Prince George's County"
opening in October 2015. The very best entries from our selection of winning submissions will be awarded our best of show prizes:

First Place Winner: $ 1,000.00
Second Place Winner: $ 500.00
Third Place Winner: $ 250.00
