January Impacts
It is a new year and NC State Extension in Currituck is exploring new ways of bringing you the latest, research-based education in the areas of Agriculture, Foods and Nutrition, and 4-H and Youth Development.  Chicken 
Show

Currituck County 4-H is hosting a Domestic Poultry Show on September 17, 2016. Pre-registration is required. The show is open to all youth ages 5-18. Please pre-register by March 11, 2016 at the Currituck County Extension office located in Barco, NC. There is a registration fee of $20. 
Fruit Tree 
Workshop

The Currituck Extension Center will be sponsoring a class on "Growing and Managing Fruit Trees in the Home Landscape" on Tuesday, March 1, 2016 at 6:00 pm.  Topics to be covered include: tree site selection; planting methods; soil and fertility needs; pruning and training; insect and disease management.

Welcome to Medicare

Do you have questions about Medicare? Currituck County Cooperative Extension is presenting a "Welcome to Medicare and Medicare Supplemental" information session on March 15th and 22nd. This class is for those who will be turning 65 years of age, elder caregivers, and others who may be interested.
