Purple Haze Goat Cheese
Flavored with wild fennel and lavender pollen, Purple Haze is a goat's milk cheese produced by Cyprus Grove Chevre in Northern California. It has an earthy, herbaceous flavor with a smooth, creamy, crumbly and spreadable texture. Tastes great crumbled over a green salad, paired with honey as a dessert, or stuffed in pitted dates and wrapped in proscuitto.
  
Lemon Cream Filled Strawberries
From Stonewall Kitchen
Ingredients
  • 30-40 strawberries
  • 1/2 cup of heavy or whipping cream
  • 2 Tbsp. powder sugar
  • 2 oz. cream cheese, room temperature
  • 2 Tbsp. Stonewall Kitchen Lemon Curd (available at Vita Sana)
  • 30-40 blueberries
  • 30-40 mint leaves (optional)
Directions

  1. Core strawberries by cutting around the stem; do not cut through the bottom of the strawberry.Slice a small tip of the strawberry off so it will stand without tipping over.
  2. Whip the cream in a chilled bowl until it forms soft peaks. Whisk in sugar, and set aside.
  3. In a separate bowl whisk together the cream cheese and lemon curd. Fold in the whipped cream mixture until combined, chill for a few minutes or ready to use.
  4. Pipe or spoon cream mixture into each strawberry. Top with a blueberry and mint leaf. Chill or serve immediately (can be made several hours ahead).
