Ginger
Ginger, the most recent Kroon grant recipient

Best of all, 100% of the funds raised will be funneled into our Judith Middleton Kroon grant program to save the lives of at-risk shelter pets.   Just this week, Up-Cycled Pets was awarded a Kroon grant for Ginger, who was in pretty bad shape in a Michigan shelter. She has been treated for heartworm and is living in a foster home, waiting  to find her forever family. See Ginger's information here

If you can't make it to Potbelly Sandwich Shop on Monday but want to help more shelter pets, we welcome donations to the Judith Middleton Kroon grant program. Make your tax-deductible donation here
Healthy Cats Needed for Transport to Massachusetts

Trilly
Sorry, Kitty, this isn't what we mean
 by transport!

Dakin Humane Society  in Springfield, Massachusetts is looking for cats! Due to successful spay/neuter programs in the area, the local population of cats has diminished to the point that the shelter is coordinating tranports of young, healthy cats from other states.

If your shelter or rescue is  interested in transporting, take a look at  these guidelines, which specify health and behavior criteria and describe Massachusetts state regulations.

If you have an oversupply of the types of kitties outlined in the guidelines and have the resources to complete the sending shelter/rescue responsibilities, you can discuss next steps with:
