Connections  |  November 2015
Every Woman's Place for Support, Connections and Community.
Gearing up for the Holidays

Every year, the Women's Centre hosts a Toy Room Program for two weeks before Christmas. Women are welcome to come in and choose a gift for their children and themselves with the help of volunteers. Last year, over 3,000 women and children accessed the Toy Room program. Just over 1,000 of those were in the first three days of the program.

The Women's Centre struggles to provide adult women and teens with gifts as well. If you're interested in hosting a toy drive or collecting women's gifts with friends or coworkers, let us know! Connect with Sarelle at 403-264-1155 or [email protected]. More information is available on our website.

Volunteer Party
Thank you for attending the Volunteer Appreciation Party! The Women's Centre is dedicated to building community, and volunteers are at the core of this vision. Check out photos from the event here

Farewell Marie-Eve!

And she's off! Marie-Eve will be moving to Ottawa in just a few days. After two years at the Centre in a variety of positions, she's ready to take on something new. Thank you for your hard work and we'll miss you very much! There will be an informal farewell on Wednesday, Nov 4th at 4pm.
