Grow a Row Benefits Food Pantry
Goffstown Network, Inc
The Goffstown Network Food Pantry is continuing their excellent program this year called Grow a Row and the library is supporting the project as much as possible. To help you get started, stop by the lobby of the library and pick up some row stakes for your garden to mark which rows will be for donation, and see the selection of books on display to help you with your green thumb.

In the past, the library has been used as a drop-off for local growers and we've received everything from bags of lettuce and zucchini, to apples, pears and summer squash for delivery to the Food Pantry. We will take all your extra fruits, vegetables and other perishables and drop them off for you when the pantry is open on Wednesday evenings and Saturday mornings.

Please consider this worthwhile community project - it's also a great way to get your kids in the garden, learning about growing and giving!

E-Sources are Changing

The online indexes and research databases we have offered for a number of years through our GMILCS consortium are changing as of July 1, 2015. As of that date, we will no longer have access to the following: Literary Reference Center, Auto Repair Reference Center, Science Online, Issues and Controversies and American History Online. Every year the library staff looks at usage of all our resources compared to the costs, and usage of those e-sources no longer justifies the money we spend. Therefore, those resources will be cancelled to make funds available for other materials our community is asking us to provide. If you have questions or comments, please email Dianne at [email protected] or call 497-2102.

Mission Statement:
The Goffstown Public Library will serve as a primary resource for community information needs. It will provide a comfortable place for citizens to access quality materials and programs, enhance cultural awareness and to explore issues of local, national and global interest.
