GREETINGS                           March 3rd, 2016

Hello my beloved Church,

I trust that you all survived the snow storm. I was quite surprised by it all! At 5:00 there was nothing and by 6:30 the wind was howling and the snow was coming down so very quickly! And the next day the sun was shining! This week coming is supposed to be balmy!!! Crazy weather!

We are about halfway through Lent. It often seems like a long season of the Christian year. It is also a very important one and offers us the rich opportunity to examine how we walk with Christ. I trust that as your read the Gospel of John, that you will discover more about who Jesus is!

This Friday (tomorrow)- March the 4th at 2:30 there will be a World Day of Prayer Service at Jerseyville United Church It is open to all people and I know that those who attend will receive a warm welcome!

THOUGHTS AND PRAYERS

In our thoughts and prayers are Jutta Haas, Nancy Lane & Norm McMullan and Stella Rutherford
