Greetings and blessings to you.

I am pleased to share with you details of important upcoming events this Spring, in particular the 23rd Annual Bishop's Pro-Life Dinner on April 16.  As you have hopefully heard, this year's featured guest is actor, producer and pro-life advocate  Eduardo Verástegui from the inspirational films Bella and Little Boy

As always, we depend on your critical help to spread the word about this important event. By now, you should have received a promotional packet for the Bishop's Dinner via email, as well as posters and yard signs at the Parish Pro-Life Coordinators meeting (remaining posters and signs are being delivered to your parishes).  Below are links to electronic copies of these materials as well:
Tickets are going fast this year, so be sure to  reserve your parish table(s) soon !  And we'd like to encourage each parish to consider creating a parish basket for the silent auction.  Additional information about this wonderful way to support LIFE can be found here.

Before the Dinner, I hope you can join us for the CPLC's Open House at our new offices ( 14675 Midway, Suite 121) on Thursday,  March 10th from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. Please stop by any time!

Also this month, we have an opportunity to prayerfully experience Holy Week together. On Good Friday, March 25, we will unite our sufferings and the sufferings of those injured by abortion, to Christ at the Pro-Life Stations of the Cross on March 25 from 12 noon to 1 p.m. An  English prayer service will take place at Southwestern abortion facility. A Spanish prayer service will take place at the  Planned Parenthood South abortion facility.

Please also mark your calendars for the following events in March:
And please save the date for the first Quarterly Mass, Eucharistic Adoration and Rosary Procession of the year on April 23 beginning with 8 a.m. Mass at Nuestra Señora del Pilar followed by a rosary procession to the Planned Parenthood abortion facility.

I hope you experience a blessed Lent as we prepare to celebrate our Savior's Resurrection. On Easter Sunday, March 27 we also celebrate the Feast Day of St. Lazarus. Lazarus, the friend of Jesus, the brother of Martha and Mary, was the one of whom the Jews said, "See how much he loved him."  We should all realize every day of our lives how much Jesus loves us. He suffered and died for each one of us.  He earned heaven for us. He redeemed us. That is truly the Good News that we should be spreading to all.

God bless,

David Carr
