MINI MONDAYS
MONDAYS IN MARCH
Mondays at the Children's Museum are very special days. Every Monday from September to April, join us for a fun-filled morning and afternoon of stimulating play for children under 4 years old. We provide tailored crafts to help develop fine motor skills, activities that aid in dramatic play, and a special story time at 11:00AM and 1:00PM in our Time Squared gallery.

VOLUNTEER INFORMATION SESSION MARCH 17, 2016
The Children's Museum is looking for volunteers to assist with our upcoming spring programming. Are you fun, creative, and interested in making a difference? Help spark kids' creative learning - become a Children's Museum volunteer today or share this message with someone you know! Prospective volunteers need to complete an online application. As online applications are received, prospective volunteers are contacted, registered to attend an information session, and given information about specific volunteer roles at the Children's Museum.

EARTH DAY
APRIL 22, 2016
Join us for Earth Day and save! All green-themed school programs will be available at a special discounted price of $4.00 per student per program on Friday, April 22, 2016. We will also feature special eco-friendly crafts and activities throughout the day in the museum's galleries, and encourage your group to collect recyclable materials to donate for use in our Pop m'Art gallery.

MEMBERS MORNING

Visiting the Children's Museum is always fun! Members can start their 2016 Earth Day experience bright and early with our first Members Event of the year. Members and their guests (up to two FREE guests per active member) are invited to join us on Friday, April 22 for exclusive before-hours access to the museum's 12 interactive galleries, complimentary morning refreshments courtesy of Tim Hortons, PLUS a special Meet & Greet with Take Pride Winnipeg's mascot, Louie the Lion. Attendees will also have the opportunity to enter the draw for a Children's Museum membership and Take Pride Winnipeg book, Timmy the Tumble Bag. At the event's conclusion, all guests are welcome to extend their Children's Museum stay (at no charge) when the doors open to the general public at 9:30AM.
No registration required. Maximum event capacity is 120.

Kids Celebrate!
plunges guests into the midst of 12 celebrations that bring families together throughout the seasons in Canada's many cultural communities. Calendars in hand, discover the dances, foods, decorations, and costumes that make each of these holidays memorable.
Through creative activities, roleplaying, and interactive challenges, guests can explore the lively traditions that build ties between generations while helping to pass down collective cultural values.
Kids Celebrate! is a travelling exhibition produced by the Canadian Museum of History.
