Being a Faithful Household
Even When On The Road

That time of the year has come when God trusts only us Episcopalians to take the summer off -- right? (Not really, of course.)

How can we maintain our faithful-ness as families when we travel? The ancient Celts knew something about faithful comings and goings.

PRAYER REQUEST

Let us stand in prayer and solidarity with our brothers and sisters who were slain last evening at Mother Emanuel African Methodist Episcopal Church in Charleston, South Carolina.

Even as we shroud the Cross on Good Friday, and we say "It is Finished," we know it isn't over. Resurrection is coming.

News from The Atrium

Dear all,

This Sunday, Fathers' Day, June 21 - 9:15am-10:15am, parent helpers and interested parents are invited to meet me in the Atrium (classroom 6)...without children!  They are invited to spend that hour on the playground, weather permitting.  There will be at least two gracious dads supervising (thank you, Leonard and Jonathan).  Rainy plan: they will do artwork in the room next to the nursery.  I'll have some supplies available.

I plan to go over some essentials of the Catechesis program; and I'll do a demonstration of how to do polishing work, as well as the Good Shepherd parable.

Even if you've never helped out before, please do consider joining us.  It is so life-giving being in the Atrium.

The other two Sundays this summer we will do parent training are: July 26 and August 2.

So, we will not have Arium time for children this Sunday.  We will also be taking a break from the Atrium for the next two Sundays: June 28 and July 5.

Peace,

Kelly
