AT THE DOUG MILLER FAMILY SPORTS DOME!

NEW COURSES JUST ADDED TO LIST OF EXHIBITORS;

March is here, and that means that the local golf season is just a few weeks away - and there's just 10 days to go before Rochester Golf Day, presented by the RDGA, on Saturday, March 12 at the Doug Miller Family Sports Dome on West Ridge Road in Greece!

Taking place from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., this one-day, fun and informational event is open to golfers of all abilities - RDGA member and non-member alike - and is FREE OF CHARGE!

Throughout the day, attendees will be able to participate in several activities:

Receive one FREE small bucket of range balls to hit at the Dome's indoor driving range.
Chat with RDGA Board Members and USGA Committee representatives.
Practice short game skills in the Dome's practice green.
Visit with representatives from many of the area's golf courses and golf businesses.

WOMEN: JOIN US FOR

GREAT RDGA TOURNAMENTS THIS SEASON!

WOMEN'S FOUR PERSON TEAM HANDICAP SCRAMBLE

JUST ADDED TO 2016 SCHEDULE

Women members of the Rochester District Golf Association will have many opportunities to enter fun, challenging and competitive tournaments this season - including the popular RDGA Women's Open in August, back for a third year and hosted by Brook-Lea Country Club, as well as the prestigious RDGA Women's Championship Danielle E. Downey Memorial in July at Ridgemont Country Club.

And - just added to the 2016 RDGA tournament schedule - the inaugural RDGA Women's Four Person Handicap Team Scramble!

Our first ever four-person scramble event for women will be hosted by CenterPointe Country Club on Sunday, June 12 . Come out and test your golf game in a fun competition.

The inaugural RDGA Women's Handicap Team Scramble will feature:

Teams consisting of four women golfers - that's it!
Players will be able to chose who to play with: teams may come from the same club or from different clubs.
All levels of play are welcome - part of your strategy is putting together a team with the winning combination of skills and handicaps.
The entry fee will include golf, cart, range, tee gift, prizes and hors d'ouerves after the round during the scoring and awards.

Just a reminder that online registration is now open for 2016 Rochester District Golf Association tournaments! CLICK HERE for the 2016 RDGA schedule, find the tournament that you want to play, then click on "Register" and follow the instructions.

All the annual District championships are back for 2016, including:

The RDGA District Championships for Men and Women at Ridgemont Country Club
The RDGA Senior Championship at Mendon Golf Club
The RDGA Mid-Amateur Championship at Chili Country Club
The RDGA Match Play and Senior Match Play Championships at Blue Heron Hills
The RDGA Women's Open at Brook-Lea Country Club

Also open for registration are the annual RDGA Two-Person Scramble and the RDGA Two-Person Four Ball - as well as the popular RDGA Play Day schedule. And JUST ADDED is the inaugural RDGA Women's Handicap Four Person Team Scramble.

And join us for the Rochester Golf Day, Presented by the RDGA, on Saturday, March 12 for more exciting RDGA Tournament news, including the release of the RDGA Junior schedule, details about the inaugural RDGA Handicap Championship at Durand Eastman Golf Course in September, as well as a team event for women and a Rochester vs. Buffalo team event for men!
