In this newsletter we hope you find information that is relevant to you. We also share in person events where you can meet local families of kids with special needs. Connect is distributed monthly. You're Invited: Birthday Party Event in Alliston
Children and Youth with special needs and their families are invited to an inclusive birthday party event in Alliston on March 8th from 6:00pm-8:00pm at 233 Church Street South. This event is free and open to all ages. For more information click here or to register directly click here.

 
York Region Building Effective School Partnerships Workshop
Families of children or youth with special needs are invited to attend this upcoming workshop March 23rd from 6:30pm-8:00pm at the Oak Ridges Hub at 13175 Yonge Street, Richmond Hill. This event will help you learn how to effectively communicate and collaborate with your child's school, help you discover tips to help prepare for school meetings and allow the opportunity to ask questions and network with other parents and professionals. Richmond Hill "Have a Go" Wheelchair Sports Day
Ever wondered what it would be like to try a wheelchair sport? Children's Treatment Network, in partnership with the Ontario Wheelchair Sports Association, and the Town of Richmond Hill, invite you to "Have A Go" at wheelchair sports during March Break! Click here to find out more.
