Santa Fe TTN is organized and led entirely by volunteers.

In January, we

told you change was in the air at TTN. We hope these changes will add value to your Membership.
One difference is the format of our meetings. We think you might like more time to get to know fellow members and guests so we're making program time a little shorter and social time longer: After February's presentation, we had a book exchange. Choices included self-help, mysteries and several Pulitzer Prize winners. Everyone found something appealing to take home.
Please plan to enjoy more socializing at our New Member Tea on March 19 which will be held at the home of our founder, Jean Palmer. Longer-term members will be there to welcome newer members, get acquainted and talk a little about all that TTN has to offer.
Do you RSVP to TTN events? Knowing the number of people who will attend helps us make sure everyone is welcomed and has a place at the table.

Book Swap and the Joys of
Literacy!
At our February monthly meeting, TT
N members and guests enjoyed each others'
company while finding a new and interesting
book to read. The Book Swap followed a talk by Ruth Greenberger, current board president of Literacy Volunteers Santa Fe, who spoke about her experiences as an ESL tutor and about the organization. Each person attending this monthly meeting who brought a book was able to choose another and then find its former owner to chat about it. This proved a good way to discover new books - and perhaps new friends!
