  Upcoming Sales Tax Election
The .25% Special Library Sales Tax will expire December 2016.  In order to keep property taxes low, the City is proposing a renewal of the sales tax for general operational needs. This is not an increase in sales tax, but a continuation of the current rate.

Residents of Bonner Springs will receive mail ballots mid-March to vote on the Sales Tax proposal.  Ballots must be mailed to the Wyandotte County Election Office with sufficient time to be received or returned in person by noon on April 12, 2016.
