Spring hasn't quite arrived here in Atlanta although there are signs of its eminent arrival. Daffodils are starting to push up, some in sunny, sheltered spots are even blooming. The days are longer and the light is brighter making those cobwebs and dust motes even more noticeable. Do you rely on these signs of spring to start afresh? Or, are you one of those lucky people who is constantly creating - beginning and completing projects?
Starting fresh can be a wonderful feeling. You have a clean slate and can create something new and different. Many people take these brighter days as an opportunity to do their spring cleaning. They move furniture around, wash windows, and do a deep cleaning of their homes. Some even redecorate!
What project do you have in mind this spring? Is it an indoor project or an outdoor one? My project this spring is to let all of you know that the children's books that I co-authored with Jonda Beattie are now available at Amazon and Barnes & Noble!
This is such exciting news! Suzie's Messy Room and Benji's Messy Room are children's storybooks for young children. Suzie's Messy Room was written with little girls in mind and Benji's Messy Room was written with little boys in mind. Both are about a child who gets overwhelmed by the enormity of the task of picking up their bedroom after having lots of fun playing with their toys. Read the book with your child or grandchild to find out how their mother helps them go from overwhelmed to done. The books are available as a hardcopy and as a digital download. Jonda and I are so happy with the way these books have turned out. The illustrations are marvelous!
We are thrilled to let you know that we will be doing a book reading and signing at The Eagle Eye Bookstore in Decatur in early March. I hope to see many of you there!
