City of Hamilton Announces Major Redevelopment Project
Hamilton, Ohio -   The city of Hamilton Ohio announces a partnership with Manheim, PA based Spooky Nook Sports LLC on the redevelopment of the former Champion Paper Mill.

The project will include a youth sports complex, fitness center, hotel, restaurants, brewery, meeting and event space, and other entertainment venues. The facility will also house tenants in various medical fields including orthopedics, pediatric dentistry, and other services that support athletics and active lifestyles.

Chief visionary Moses Glick, of M.B. Glick, comprised a team which includes Jim Fitton, Mike Dingeldein, Andy Brossart of William Blair & Company, and Frances Mennone.

Spooky Nook Sports ( www.spookynooksports.com) located in Manheim, PA currently hosts academy programs for many sports including, field hockey, basketball, volleyball, softball, baseball, futsal, and cheerleading. More than 900,000 players, spectators, coaches, and guests visit the facility each year for tournaments, camps, clinics, fitness, meetings, conventions, trade shows, banquets, and other events.

Next steps in the project include the completion of a development agreement with the city, identifying and securing funding sources, identifying potential tenants and partners, and outlining additional uses that complement the overall project.

Construction is estimated to begin in late 2016 with a projected completion time frame of late 2017.
